I’ve been with Healthy Regards for about 2+ years now and I can say I’ve had no issues with them! My psychiatrist Dr. Olumayowa Omoyeni is the best and checks in on me and just genuinely cares (: 10/10!!Posted on DONNIE LENARDTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Easily one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences with any kind of medical office that I have ever experienced. After providing them with every document, medical records, and releases that was requested (which took days) they contacted me 15 mins before my scheduled appointment to notify me that there had been a “scheduling error” and that they could not see me. Shorty after that I received an email stating they don’t think they are the right provider for me. I actually agree with them on that. I’ve been treated for adhd for over 25 yrs. and I have never seen more of a disorganized mess than this practice. It’s like the left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing.Posted on Brashearica DTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you are a black American do not go to any African providers. They will not take you serious, & will not classify your diagnoses as a serious clinical concern until you check yourself into an inpatient behavioral health center. You are better off going to a Caucasian/White provider because they will actually listen lol. I asked Olumayowa Omoyeni if she would assist with FMLA in our very 1st session to avoid wasting my HCA spending on a provider who can’t help/scared to help/not interested in helping. Which she acted like she did and stated she would need at least 3 visits prior to assisting. At this point my health insurance is paying appx $450/session. Every time I asked what do I need to do regarding FMLA, it’s: “get with your employer, because they’re starting to get real strict and tight”. I finally decided to just file a claim because she was clearly no help with direction or a plan moving forward to assist with my problems. Again, most African providers think there is nothing wrong with people and don’t take their problems seriously until it’s too late. Before she could put me on different meds she wanted a EKG/ECG, ok cool I just did that a few weeks ago and sent the copy to her, no response, no follow up for next appointment, radio silence. After filing for FMLA I requested for 4 weeks. Not even the whole 3 months(12weeks)!! To my surprise I was approved for 2 weeks instead😂 with no call from my provider so that we are on the same page or to understand why. It’s very cowardice of the provider to not want to follow up with their client so that they are not left in the dark. But it’s a money hungry industry with little regard or care to their clients. Again, if you are black and want legitimate help go to a white person, Africans never believe anything is wrong with you 😂.
Living with ADHD as an adult can be exhausting. It often shows up as missed deadlines, unfinished tasks, disorganization, and constant mental overload. Many adults spend years blaming themselves before realizing ADHD has been affecting their daily life all along.
The good news is that ADHD is treatable. With the right care from licensed medical professionals, adults can improve focus, organization, and overall quality of life.
Our clinic provides adult ADHD treatment in McKinney and throughout Collin County. We’re located near Historic Downtown McKinney, easily accessible from the 121/75 corridor, and we serve patients from Allen, Frisco, Plano, and surrounding areas. We offer both in-person appointments at our McKinney office and secure telehealth visits for patients across Texas.
Personalized Care for Adults
Most of our patients feel overwhelmed by work demands, daily responsibilities, and the pressure to keep everything together. Many are high-functioning but mentally exhausted from constantly trying to stay organized and focused.
ADHD looks different for everyone. Some adults struggle with restlessness and impulsivity. Others deal with inattention, forgetfulness, or difficulty finishing tasks. Many experience a combination of both.
Treatment plans reflect each person’s specific situation and what matters most to them. Our licensed psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners have specialized training in adult ADHD and understand how symptoms impact work, relationships, and daily life.
ADHD Testing for Adults in McKinney
Effective treatment starts with understanding what is really happening.
Our comprehensive ADHD testing for adults includes a clinical evaluation by a licensed medical professional, a review of your symptoms and personal history, and assessment of how ADHD affects work, relationships, and daily routines. This process typically involves a detailed conversation about when symptoms started, how they’ve changed over time, and what strategies have already been tried.
A clear diagnosis often brings relief. It replaces self-doubt with answers and helps guide the right approach moving forward.
How Treatment Works
Getting help does not need to feel overwhelming. Here’s what to expect when working with our ADHD specialist team.
What Improvement Actually Looks Like
The goal is not to change who you are. It’s to remove the barriers that make everyday life harder than it should be.
You might finally sit through meetings without your mind wandering to five different things. You could start finishing projects you’ve been putting off for months. Simple tasks like paying bills on time or keeping your workspace organized might stop feeling like major accomplishments.
One patient described being able to read a book again without having to reread the same page three times. Another said he stopped feeling like he was constantly letting people down at work.
These changes take time, but they happen when treatment fits your life.
ADHD Medication Management in McKinney
If medication is appropriate for your treatment, your licensed provider explains how it works in clear and simple terms. You’ll know what to expect, including possible side effects and how progress is monitored.
Our medication management approach includes careful selection of starting doses, regular monitoring appointments, and adjustments based on your response. Some people need higher doses, others need less. Finding the right fit takes patience and medical expertise.
Medication is not the only focus. Skills, routines, and lifestyle changes are also important parts of managing ADHD well, and your provider will discuss all evidence-based treatment options with you.
Serving McKinney and Collin County
Our practice is conveniently located in McKinney, serving adults throughout Collin County. Whether you’re coming from Historic Downtown McKinney, the Stonebridge area, or nearby communities like Allen, Frisco, or Plano, our office is accessible from major routes including Highway 75 and Highway 121.

When Medication Is Part of Treatment
If medication is appropriate, I explain how it works in clear and simple terms. You will know what to expect, including possible side effects and how progress is monitored.
We start carefully and adjust as needed. Medication is never the only focus. Skills, routines, and lifestyle changes play an important role as well.
Getting Started
Many people wait years to seek help, hoping things will improve on their own.
ADHD does not get better with willpower. It improves with proper support.
If school feels overwhelming, work feels unmanageable, or daily life feels harder than it should, help is available.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does an ADHD evaluation cost in McKinney?
The cost of ADHD testing varies depending on your insurance coverage. Most insurance plans cover evaluations and treatment when provided by licensed medical professionals. Our staff verifies your benefits before your appointment and can discuss self-pay options if needed.
Can I be diagnosed with ADHD as an adult if I was never diagnosed as a child?
Yes. Many adults are diagnosed later in life after years of unmanaged symptoms. ADHD often goes unrecognized in childhood, especially in people who developed coping strategies or whose symptoms were less disruptive. It’s never too late to get answers and proper treatment.
Is medication required for ADHD treatment?
No. Medication is one option, and treatment plans may also include behavioral strategies and lifestyle support. Some patients do well with medication management alone, others prefer non-medication approaches, and many benefit from a combination. Your licensed provider will discuss all options based on your specific needs.
How long does ADHD treatment take to work?
Some people notice improvement within weeks, especially with medication management. Others need adjustments over time. Everyone responds differently, and finding the right approach may take a few months. Your provider monitors progress closely and makes changes as needed.
